2008 Campus Recruiting of Trane Asian R&D Center
As a world leader in air conditioning systems, services and solutions, Trane company control the comfort of the air for people in homes and many of the worlds largest and most famous commercial, industrial and institutional buildings. Were applying Tranes expertise in environmental technology and energy conservation to make a difference in energy efficiency around the globe.
For more than a century the Trane name has identified products and technology that stretched the worlds idea of what was possible – a tradition thats still very much with us. In many ways, Trane is a classic American success story that grew into a global one. It began with our founder, James Trane, a Norwegian immigrant who opened his own plumbing shop in La Crosse, WI, in 1885. Were proud that over the decades weve enriched the scope of our products and technology as well as the scope of the total solutions we can offer each customer.
New chapters in our history of growth through innovation are being written every working day. Our momentum continues to build because - as our people have said for years - "its hard to stop a Trane." As of June 2008 Trane became part of Ingersoll Rand, a Fortune 500 enterprise.
The Asia Sourcing and Design Center (ASDC) of Trane was launched in Shanghai on February 16, 2004 with investment of US$ 1.5 million. The ASDC in Shanghai is the third global Research and Development Center of Trane Commercial Systems, with the other two in France and the United States. It concentrates on commercial heating, ventilation and air conditioning products sold under the Trane Brand. In addition to developing products for the China market, the center also qualifies Chinese manufacturers as suppliers of materials and component parts for use within the production processes at Trane Companies manufacturing facilities around the world.
The ASDC is committed to recruiting the most qualified candidates. We have identified key universities for our recruiting function. By offering full-time/internship opportunities, both undergraduate and graduate students, ASDC is attracting and recruiting a wide variety of candidates. As we did before, we will be visiting some of your schools in November for campus recruiting. Please explore our exceptional career opportunities in advance and if you are interested in submitting your resume to be reviewed by us, please send your CV to: hrasdc@trane.com. by 31st Oct. 2008 And a face to face interview probably will be followed-up. Please indicate “Campus Recruiting” in the subject of the email.
