The Application Engineer provides technical support in the selection and application of Sauer-Danfoss product on customer machines.

工作职责Responsibilities:

- Be knowledgeable about Sauer-Danfoss products.

- Be knowledgeable about OEM Machines that are the focus of Sauer-Danfoss business. Develop expertise in appropriate hydraulic and control systems for such machines.

- Contact appropriate Sauer-Danfoss Business Unit product technical sources to obtain information on product characteristics.

- Have basic understanding of complimentary product, e.g. engines, gearboxes.

- Respond to customer inquiries for technical data and/or technical assistance (not service related).

- Design and advise on hydraulic circuits and controls for customer machines.

- Determine the appropriate Sauer-Danfoss product specifications to satisfy the system or function for that particular application.

- Review customer installation parameters to advise on appropriate application of Sauer-Danfoss product.

- Prepare technical proposal to support sales effort to customer.

- Document application of products on key machines.

- Support customer as required for installation and start-up of prototype machinery at client’s premises.

- Interpret engineering parameters and prepare technical data for field dissemination (primarily a TST role).

- Translation of technical literature (primarily a TST role).

- Support service personnel in determining solutions to customer system field problems.

- Provide reports as required by Sauer-Danfoss organization.

- Collect local application information for larger Sauer-Danfoss organization.

- Provide technical training for customers and internal staff.

- Provide sales arguments/presentations for machine-specific system solutions.

职位要求Requirements:

- University graduate who can speak and write the English language. Good communication skills. Mandarin Chinese must be strong.

- An engineering or technical degree (mechanical or similar relevant area) or equivalent engineering-based knowledge.

- Technical experience in the fluid power industry or mobile machinery is desirable.

- Computing skills should be at least moderately advanced. Including basic office type business software, as well as some background in engineering type computing programs, e.g. CAD, programming language, Matlab, etc.

- Can travel away from home frequently.
